The influence of cultures and colours

The warm jazz of Rosemary Phillips personifies the Caribbean, which is where she is from. But this artiste's work is also influenced by her English, Scottish, Polish and Russian heritage, a rich cultural mix which transcends her choice of music.

She has had coaching sessions with classical and jazz backgrounds, including Doris Provencal (Quebec), Norma Bowen (Caribbean) and even Alex Santoriello (Broadway, USA). She is currently working on her voice with David Laudat who coached Lionel Ritchie.
